AVG Internet Security 7.5 marks Grisoft's entry into the security suite market, putting them in the same class as Norton and McAfee. The end result is Grisoft's popular AVG Antivirus slapped together with an anti-spyware, anti-spam and firewall - no parental controls nor anti-phishing protection though.
The 2 things we like about the security suite is the flexible licensing options and the small amount of resource it uses. AVG Internet Security 7.5 requires just 70MB of hard disk space to install and 64MB of memory to run.
What we didn't like were the poor spam filtering and the weak firewall, which by the way doesn't provide better details like ZoneAlarm. The controls are also more complicated and appear less integrated - there are simply too many windows, e.g. Control Center, Test Center, Virus Vault, etc.
