Hitachi's new Hybrid DVD/HDD camcorder enables you to shoot longer videos and share your DVDs faster - no PC or DVD burning software required.
The camcorder has 2 storage types and gives you the flexibility to record your video on either the DVD or internal 8GB hard disk drive (HDD). Videos stored on the HDD can be burned directly onto a DVD.
You can shoot up to 2 hours of video onto a DVD and up to 5 hours onto the HDD in standard mode. Videos are recorded as MPEG2 with 2 channel/stereo Dolby Digital audio.
The Hitachi Hybrid DVD/HDD camcorder comes in 2 variations - the 1.3 megapixel DZ-HS301E and the 3.3 megapixel DZ-HS303E. Notable features include Hitachi's one-second Quickstart, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), internal foam bumpers and ESP hard disk shock protection.
