HP's TouchSmart IQ770 PC is a sleek-looking desktop computer that would look great in the living room, bedroom and even kitchen. The touchscreen PC is runs on Microsoft's Windows Vista Home Premium operating system and is designed as an entertainment hub.
At the heart of the TouchSmart IQ770 is a mobile AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core processor, 2GB PC2-4200 DDR2 SDRAM and 320GB 7200rpm SATA hard drive. The 19" BrightView LCD (1440x990) features a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera with microphone, and is powered by NVIDIA's GeForce Go 7600 graphics card with 256MB video memory.
Being a home entertainment PC, the TouchSmart IQ770 PC runs Windows Vista's new Media Center Interface with a HP SmartCenter frontpage, giving you a "kiosk" feel. This setup is supplemented by a variety of hardware like an integrated high-definition TV tuner, 8-in-1 card reader and slot-loading Multi-DVD drive with LightScribe technology.
