Samsung's YP-K3 is arguably the thinnest MP3 player in the world, with a mere 6.95mm thickness and weighing in at under 50g. Despite its diminutive size, the player comes with some nice features including a 1.8" full-color OLED screen (160x128), integrated FM tuner and up to 4GB built-in storage using NAND flash.
The Samsung Yp-K3 also supports photo playback, an alarm function and 3D surround sound, courtesy of Samsung's proprietary DNSe (Digital Natural Sound) technology. The file formats supported are MP3, WMA and JPEG.
The tiny MP3 player is powered by a Li-Polymer battery rated at 25 hours of audio playback. Samsung also offers an optional pocket case that acts as portable speakers and provides additional battery power.
The Samsung YP-K3 MP3 player is a strong contender against Apple's iPod Nano and we bet you could stack 3 of these against Microsoft's Zune. How thin is it again?
