The Toshiba Satellite A135-S4499 is a newly released laptop that comes pre-installed with Windows Vista Ultimate. It is also one of the first entry-level laptops that comes with two hard drives for extra storage or automatic backup, depending on your setting.
The dual 120GB hard drives can be used seperately, chained together to create a larger 240GB hard drive or one used to backup the other.
The metallic, onyx-blue Toshiba Satellite A135 laptop weighs from 6 lbs, and is fitted with an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66GHz CPU, 2GB of memory and a fingerprint reader. The laptop features a 15.4" widescreen (1280x800) powered by an Intel GMA 950 graphics card (max. 256MB shared), has a DVD SuperMulti drive (dual layer) and S-Video out.
The laptop is also well-connected with a dialup modem, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g wireless, i.Link 1394 Firewire and 5-in-1 media card reader - no PC Express slots though.
